WELCOME TO MOUNTAIN TREKKING AND TOURS, We are a family owned and operated company whose experience in mountain travel spans 30 years. We offer a variety of winter and summer adventure tours from easy one day hikes, to five-day mountaineering and backpacking trips in the Canadian Rockies. From small group participation to private guiding, we plan your trip to accommodate your needs and choose terrain that best suits your ability.
Our tours are conducted in approximately 10,000sq.km.of wilderness that includes both national and provincial parks that are in a spectacular mountain landscape that offers something for everyone. Our tours originate in the beautiful Bow Valley, in the towns of Banff & Canmore, which is located approximately 1-1/2 hours from the Calgary International Airport.

Our lead guide and company founder is renowned mountaineer Lloyd "Kiwi" Gallagher. Lloydís mountaineering experience and guiding has included successful tours and expeditions throughout the world that include:

In addition, he was responsible for the creation, development and implementation of the Mountain Search And Rescue/Public Safety Program for the Province of Alberta.
